Bring objects to the front or send them to the back

With the exception of stamps, objects can be placed on top of one another. This gives you the possibility to put a background image on a page. Then, other objects can be positioned on top of it.

A problem that might arise is that objects hide one another. This is caused by the order in which the objects are positioned onto the page. If you position the background image after the other objects onto the page, all objects will be hidden behind the background image.

The functions "Send to Back" and "Bring to Front" are the solution. With the function "Send to Back" you can move an object to the background. In the example above, this function can be applied to the background image.

The function "Bring to Front" does the opposite: it moves the objects to the foreground. In the example above, this function can be applied to the other objects as long as parts of these objects are visible. Otherwise they cannot be selected at all, of course.

You can find the functions “Send to Back” and “Bring to Front” in the main menu Options and then Send to Back or Bring to Front . They can also be found in the right mouse menu of the objects in question.
